Ceiling brushes
A ceiling mop is used in Europe for removing cobwebs indoors and outdoors. In the US market, this brush is better known as a ceiling fan brush. The specific shape with telescopic handle makes it easy to dust the top of the ceiling fan blades with it. The quality of a good ceiling mop depends mainly on the bristle chosen. Synthetic PVC fibre is cheap, but once deformed, it does not straighten up again. This forces you to buy a new ceiling mop if someone stores the brush resting on the bristles. It’s better to choose an animal fibre, such as horsehair or goat hair. After deformation, this returns to its original shape. Despite the higher cost, this will be more sustainable and cheaper in the long run.

A blend of horsehair with PBT is a resilient semi-rigid fibre for radiator brushes and ceiling mops. Unlike a blend with PET, this fibre consistently returns to its original shape after deformation. This also explains the higher cost price. The fibre holds cobwebs well. Outdoors, you can effortlessly clean the brush by rubbing the bristles back and forth. Horsehair comes from the manes and tails of horses. It is harvested by cutting, ensuring that horses are not harmed or slaughtered in the process.Specifications
