Mopping systems

There are different types of floor mops, often varying from country to country. Northern and Central European countries prefer a flat mop. These mops are very effective in picking up dirt and dust on wooden and stone floors. They consist of a flat plate with a removable cloth that is reusable and can be washed. Southern European countries, in turn, prefer the "Spanish mop”. This is a round head fitted with strips in microfibre or cotton.

MICROFIBRE

Microfibre is a synthetic fibre made mainly of polyester and polyamide (nylon). It is often produced by splitting synthetic fibres into extremely fine filaments, much smaller than a human hair. Due to its excellent absorption and cleaning properties, microfibre is commonly used in cleaning cloths for windows, surfaces, and cars.
