Yard Broom

When purchasing a broom, consider the material of the bristles carefully. You often have a choice between plant-based (medium hard) or synthetic (hard to very hard). The length of the bristles also plays an important role: A short bristle is firmer and harder than a long bristle. Longer bristles provide a smoother, gentler sweep, reducing splashing. In wet environments, synthetic is better than plant-based. For finer dry materials like sand, plant-based fibres are a better choice.
